This west side neighborhood bears the name of the illustrious P.T. Barnum, who once owned the sprawling 760 acres that now constitute a significant part of this community. In a nod to its exceptional historical significance and as a tribute to the neighborhood's original advocate, a departure from conventional flag design principles is allowed, allowing us to celebrate this unique heritage.
